NREGA Awareness Campaign

With support of Commissioner MANERAGA and Social Audit UNIT, our organization ASS have undertaken NREGA awareness campaign in Kanker district of Chhattisgarh state the main features of campaign are-

• Awareness building for Job cards and its uses.
• Awareness for job application.
• Measurement in worksite and information of type of works.
• Facilities at the workplace.
• Wages rights.
• Sensitization for social audit.
• Social monitoring.

This process of awareness is implemented through a cultural team. This cultural team organizes songs and drama in the local language and sensitizes the community. Other IEC materials are also distributed in the targeted area.
