Methods of NTFP collection

Chhattisgarh state is rich in forest produce and the economy of rural areas is dependent on the collection of forest produce. The sustainable ways of collection is taught to the gatherers, so that they can have the output for long periods and it also helps to ensure quality of the produce. The trainings of value addition and primary processing of NTFP is also a major tasks of SUTRA.
